Amy–I am writing as a co-chair of the Temple Arts Festival in Nashville, TN on April 9th-10th, 2011. A few of us on the committee have been to Maine and viewed your art. We are very interested in having your art as part of our show. Our annual invitational is limited to approx. 50 artists and is known for featuring the works of outstanding artists including painters, photographers, glass artists, sculptors, and jewelers. To view the artists’ works in previous shows, you can view the website at Http://templenashville.org/taf/
We encourage artists to bring or send up to 10 pieces of work. Of course, if you bring the art, you can bring as many as you choose. The show is juried and is professionally installed, displayed in gallery style setting. Hospitality is provided the artists Sat. aft., Sat. eve., Sun. morn.
Our artists keep 60% of the sale and 40% goes to Temple as a tax deductible purchase for the buyer. Any unsold art is packed, insured, and shipped back to exhibitors (not bringing their own) at Temple’s expense up to $400 total/artist within 2 weeks of conclusion of show. Please let me know if you are interested. If so, you can submit images of work similar to what you would send/bring for the committee to view.
